It is sad to hear that one of the renowned web-site making such a silly mistake. It could make the peoples to think twice whether to trust the news from web-site next time. Anyway, how many reporters will take the full responsibilities and resign?
At least they published a quick retraction and the reporter took full responsibility. Articles like the one just published by NST about the incident does make me feel sick, though. I have never seen anyone from the MSM take responsibility at all. Remember the time when it was shown a poem purportedly written by one of the top NST editors to be plagiarised? Did he resign or even apologise? No.
